Marking a small departure from le Grand’s the latest sound, ‘Long Way From Home’ is really a warm, funk-infused cut soaked towards bone with lush rhythmic give claps, rolling drum sections along with an infectious blues vocal riff, underpinned with juxtaposing synth stabs and jumping beginners guitar chords that thrust energy and pace over the entire piece.

Fedde le Grand (Utrecht, 7 September 1977) is a Dutch house DJ and producer whose single "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" (UK/US) / "Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit" (Europe, excluding UK) reached the top five on the Dutch Top 40, number one in the United Kingdom and spent five weeks on the Dance Charts in Spain. On 28 October 2009, DJ Magazine announced the results of their annual Top 100 DJ Poll, with Ultra Records artist Fedde le Grand placed at #29, climbing to #21 in 2010, #14 in 2011 and #26 in 2012
During the 2012 Winter Music Conference in Miami, Fedde collected Best Remix for his edit of Coldplay’s ‘Paradise’ at the IDMAs, then Best Techno Track at the Beatport Awards for his mammoth stomper ‘Metrum’ – both singles released last year through leading label Toolroom Records. He also tore apart Ultra Music Festival in March. In April, he was one of the main headliners to play at the 18th Montreal's Bal en blanc (White Party). He was also the main act at the first Sensation party in America in New York.
