Lorde Hits #1 in the US with her great song Royals!

Kiwi teen sensation Lorde can do no wrong..!  After wowing audiences as a replacement for the sickly Frank Ocean at Splendour in the Grass earlier this year, her single Royals has just knocked Miley Cyrus off the top spot on the Billboard charts (Cue Wrecking Ball gag)… Extraordinary is not a word we use lightly, but her debut album Pure Heroine is just that.  Showing a maturity that is beyond her 16 years of age, her lyrics provide a social commentary of sorts reflecting the angst, jealousy and petty dramas that we have all faced at some point in life.

Needless to say, this album transcends mainstream sensibilities and will be a true contender for SCP Pop Album of the Year.  Expect awards to flow, hearts to flutter and sell out shows to be the norm from here on in.
