“Under Control” is a song recorded by Scottish songwriter Calvin Harris plus Swedish DJ Alesso featuring English band Hurts for the Alesso’s debut studio album.

Musical accompaniment of the track was earlier chosen by Alesso throughout his set at the EDC festival 2012 inside New York. It was a mashup with a “Wild Ones” a cappella by Sia plus Flo Rida. The track had the functioning title “Gouda”, however, it was introduced a year later. May 15, 2013 Alesso, Calvin plus Theo invested inside the studio recording their brand-new adaptation of the song.

“Under Control” was premiered on 2 August 2013 throughout a DJ set by Alesso at Ushuaia, Ibiza, that was broadcast by BBC Radio 1.  Calvin Harris performed the song at the finish of his set at the V Festival on 20 August. On 18 September, Calvin Harris published a minute along with a half piece of the future composition on SoundCloud.
