Britney Spears‘ team has managed to keep word tight around the singer’s upcoming Britney Jean LP, but earlier today, a new song from those sessions hit the web — atune called “Passenger,” built found on the smart (plus sweet!) hook, “I’ve not been a passenger, yet we’ll see more without a map.” Cute, appropriate?
Aside within the robotic “Work Bitch,” the Britney Jean era appears to be all regarding Spears’ vocals — she hasn’t sung like this because her debut, because evidenced by her delivery on “Perfume” — plus whilst the track is clearly unfinished (a few of the vocals don’t even sound like her), it’s a very auspicious signal which when nothing else, Spears may really be singing on her upcoming album.
